How to hang your hammock chair
The right place for your hanging chair
Before you can start relaxing in your hammock chair, we recommend first finding your relaxation location. Hammock chairs can be setup both indoors or outdoors, expanding your location options. We recommend a quiet corner where you can focus on relaxing – your own personal oasis.
Regardless of your relaxation location, make sure there is enough distance between where your hammock chair will hang and surrounding walls, furniture, and objects.
Before you decide on a place to setup your hammock chair, we recommend considering whether you prefer to relax in a sunnier or shadier spot. As the seasons change, so will the amount of sun and shade your relaxation location will get.
Load-bearing branches, beams, poles, or even a swing set are suitable for hanging your hammock chair. Regardless of where or what you choose to hang your hammock chair from, you should always make sure of its load-bearing capacity and consult a qualified specialist if you are unsure.
Depending on whether you prefer to use your hammock chair for relaxing alone, hanging with your loved ones, or are upgrading your home office, your hammock chair can be installed anywhere in your home with enough space. When selecting an indoor location for your hammock chair, it is important that you have a stable beam or a load-bearing ceiling made of solid masonry or drywall with a wooden substructure (studs). If you are renting, we recommend checking with your landlord before breaking out the drill.
The minimum height will also depend on the chair model.
